A Very Knitterly Christmas

Well, it’s just a few days after Christmas and I hope Santa was as good to you as he was to me. I was astonished and delighted to find all sorts of knitterly items waiting under the tree for me this year! My dear Companions, we shall have reviews coming easily for the foreseeable future!

I received two yarn swifts and ball winders. One system attaches to the table, and the other sits atop a table surface. I can’t wait to get these out and play with them and see what kind of cakes they make! I also got a notebook and some pencils that I can use for taking notes while I knit. I would post pictures of them, but they use language that is less than family-friendly.

Also among the gifts under the tree were a couple of mugs for tea and my homemade lattes, as well as some new teas my stepdaughter thought I might enjoy.

And the true coup d’etat, something I’ve been dying to get my hands on? An interchangeable circular needle set! It’s made by Takumi and they are bamboo needles that cover sizes 3 to 15, with cord lengths from four inches up to 40 inches. I believe I squealed aloud when I opened them. Who doesn’t love new needles? I can hardly wait to cast on a new project with these and see how they do!

I’m off now; it’s time to knit!
